seafarer provisions is an online resource for Mariners  combining a ships chandelier and a provisions outpost our goal is to provide items necessary for the seafaring community. The items you will find here have been hand selected for the Marine environment . When outfitting  a ship or boat for an extended voyage The list of items needed can be extensive sometimes requiring multiple resources to fulfill these needs.  Sourcing the items necessary may lead you to Marine supply store ,clothing store ,hardware store , restaurants supply, Grocery store, Outdoor outfitters and multiple specialty stores, which can be very time-consuming when you’re wanting to cast off as soon as possible. So we’re providing this online store to save you hours of searching on the web or even avoiding driving all over town to obtain the items you need to set off on your voyage.

Seafair provisions is Captain Carlton who’s a licensed US CG Captain who while providing relocation and delivery for sailing and motor vesselshad a vision to create this site after experiencing how time-consuming it can be just to procure the items needed for safe passage while delivering vessels it’s not just food and beverages but a plea of equipment that may be necessary whether that’s safety, equipment, tools , or simply required items like sufficient life jackets or anything that may be missing or need replacing before embarking on a long journey . Captain Carlton wanted to create more than just a store. The idea is a link to the seafaring community with blog post that included articles that benefit everyone in the mariner community for example the best way to preserve foods on voyage and what items last longer.  articles like these will be a staple on the site encouraging you to have a resource for ideas not just to buy our products in fact, you’ll find links for items that we don’t carry in the store but feel you could use.

why we chose the name

  • Vision:
    • The faculty or state of being able to see.
    • The ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. 

The ability To properly supply a vessel for extended offshore voyages requires the professional knowledge of your ship’s systems ,the needs of your human crew and a uncanny ability to foresee what may happen in the future
